CVI Attendee Travel & Hotel

Accommodations

Hotel, meals and transportation will be provided by CooperVision with arrivals on Sunday May 21st and departure on Thursday May 25th. Should you wish to extend your stay at the Potato Head Resort hotel you may do so at the rate of $270/night please taxes and fees. Please indicate your preferred travel dates when registering and our team will assist you with extending your stay.

Flights

Flights should be reserved with arrivals on Sunday May 21st into the Denpasar (DPS). Please not that you may need to depart on Saturday May 20th to arrive on the Sunday May 21st. Flight bookings provided by CooperVision will be in Economy Plus or Business Class seating for the trip.

Departure date: Thursday, May 25, 2023 at your leisure

Ground Transportation

While in Bali we will provide secure private ground transportation for all attendees to/from the Bali airport and during all CooperVision excursions. 

Entry Requirements

According to the U.S. Embassy in Indonesia, American citizens entering Indonesia:

  • Must comply with Indonesian Government health protocols;
  • Must use PeduliLindungi [COVID tracing app] and have downloaded the application before departure
  • Must show vaccination card (physical or digital) showing full COVID vaccination at least fourteen days prior to departure

Visa on Arrival

Travelers applying for visas on arrival must submit:

  • A passport that is valid for a minimum of 6 (six) months,
  • A return ticket or onward ticket to another country,
  • Visa on Arrival fee of 500,000 IDR (~$34)

Visa on Arrival initial validity is up to a maximum of 30 days and can be extended once for up to another 30 days at the local Immigration Office.

COVID-19

Vaccination

All inbound travelers 6 years and older must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (complete dose of COVID-19 vaccines, with or without booster) at least 14 days before travel. Indonesian authorities may quarantine and vaccinate unvaccinated inbound travelers.

Testing

Upon arrival, travelers will complete a COVID-19 symptom check and temperature check. If the traveler is symptomatic or has a body temperature above 99.5 F, a PCR test will be taken at the airport. If this test is positive, the traveler must isolate at their residence or a facility approved for COVID-19 isolation. The traveler is responsible for all associated costs.

Quarantine

  • There is no quarantine requirement for travelers who are fully vaccinated.
  • Quarantine period of 5 x 24 hours is needed for international travelers who have not been vaccinated or have received the first dose of vaccination of a two-dose vaccination regime.
  • Travelers under 18 years of age will follow the quarantine provisions of their parents/caregivers.
  • International travelers are responsible for all expenses during the quarantine, including the COVID-19/PCR tests.
